• Fully automatic determination of the water content in insulating oils according to the Karl-Fischer method
  • Precise measurement with parameter controller
  • Absolute water content of 10 μg to 200 μg
  • Automatic drift correction

Comfortable and still exact. Water content measurement with BAUR KFM 3000.

Moisture is a result of the ageing process of oil and affects its insulating properties. Insulating oil must be inspected regularly, dehumidifi ed or replaced to prevent danger of damage and accidents, e.g. transformer fi res. The BAUR Aquameter KFM 3000 applies the worldwide recognised Karl-Fischer method for determination of the water content. Despite being small and compact BAUR KFM 3000 offers the highest precision.
The selection between the standard mode for quick and easy routine inspections and the expert mode for more complex inspections makes BAUR KFM 3000 the ideal device for measuring the water content.

More safety, effi ciency and profi tability.

Reliable and regular insulating oil testing with BAUR is used not only for protection of systems but also for prevention of high costs due to failures and accidents. It is highly economical for deferring high investments such as the replacement of insulating oils for as long as possible and for making optimum use of the oil.
As it is quite tedious to extract oil samples, it is benefi cial to analyse as many parameters as possible with one sample.
Besides breakdown voltage tests with the BAUR DTA 100 C or the BAUR DPA 75 C and dissipation factor diagnostics with the BAUR DTL C, the BAUR KFM 3000 completes the analysis methods for insulating oil.
