Cables need to be tested according to national and international standards: before commissioning new cable networks and recommissioning existing cable networks, e.g., after exchanging cable lines, repairing damages of terminations or joints.
BAUR’s mobile cable testing device PGK 25 is used for DC voltage testing in older low and medium voltage cables. It is characterised by its light weight of 16.5 kg, its user friendliness and solid construction for on-site testing. The integrated timer enables testing time pre-selection of 1 to 30 minutes. After the end of the testing time, the discharge unit is automatically released.
