BAUR Beyond

“We support people in need, both in our neighbourhood and across borders; we participate in projects over long periods and value collaborations with responsible contact persons.”

Our main concerns: To enable a better future for children and youth.

1. Project: “Centre for hope in Mozambique”
The centre takes care of children and youth outside of school hours; children get a hot meal, clothing, and learn simple activities of everyday life; they are also looked after medically;
Ms. Brugger gives us a half-yearly report about the small advances made in the war against the oppressive poverty of families.

2. Project: "Compassionate hands" in Kosovo
The work of sister Martha began with providing medical nursing care at home; she experienced the dire need of families there and founded a child and youth centre in which children are looked after during the day, get a square meal, and learn simple activities of everyday life. Sister Martha and her team strive to reach families in poverty so that the latter may be able to give a future to their children. All this requires a lot of time, patience and financial means, above all. Sister Martha is very grateful for the regular support which she receives.
